If I had to judge this dvd on its visual impact I would give it 5 stars – it is an absolute feast of colour and some of the dresses Gloria Estefan wears are as gorgeous as anything I’ve seen a woman wearing. So,the striking cover of the dvd of Que Siga La Tradicion (Let the tradition continue) is a good representation of what’s on the disc.I liked all the songs apart from Tres Deseos and En El Jardin – the latter I hadn’t heard before and hope never to hear again. The highlights were Santo,Santo and Con Los Anos Que Me Quedan and a version of Steal Your Heart in Spanish -No Pretendo -which I hadn’t heard before. And watch out for Abriendo Puertos,a lively song which has a very unusual and memorable video. The videos are either studio sets or they are taken from concerts. The interviews between songs are not proper interviews and are just quick earshots of Gloria and her entourage and fans. The sound quality of the dvd was good.
